Can your family decipher the clues to locate 10 historical sites around downtown Downers Grove?
Sleuthing, DG history, Supporting Local Businesses all while social distancing! Completion of the course enters your family in a raffle with dozens of prizes!
How It Works
Your family will participate as a team to solve this photo scavenger hunt. You will receive clues via text message and then you will text pictures of the sites as you find them to the game masters. The clues will lead your family on a course around downtown DG and the Randall Park neighborhood. This will all be walk-able. We expect that teams will be able to finish the course in one to two hours depending on stops along the way.
Start times will be staggered to help promote social distancing. When you register, your team will select a window for start times. Days before the event, your team will be notified of your exact start time (sometime within the window you registered for).
Your team will also have opportunities to earn additional raffle tickets while supporting local businesses that you may pass along the way.
Raffle prizes will include: A portable movie projector ($300 value), gift baskets, gift cards to local businesses/restaurants, workout packages and more!
