6. Learning Lab Donation Request

The Learning Lab is once again collecting empty toilet paper and paper towel tubes for our upcoming EXPLORE classes!  The collection box will be available through the month of April in the front vestibule. Thank you for taking the time to save these items!

7. Primary Playground

The window for personal and corporate donations toward the playground is open if anyone is interested in being a sponsor for the playground and having their name recognized on the plaque that will be mounted in the Jaguar Jungle.  All donations over $250 earn a space on the plaque, a mention on the PTA Facebook page and PTA Website.  All sponsorships are tax deductible and a letter and thank you card from the students will be sent.  Donations can be made on the website link (see below) or by check made payable to Whittier PTA with a note in the memo section saying “playground donation”.  Any funds raised that are over the cost of the playground will be returned to the PTA to fund the PTA budget and shore up the reserves.

The Downers Grove Junior Woman’s Club is hosting a Handmade Market (craft show) being held at O’Neill Middle School on Saturday, April 29 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.  The DGJWC uses funds raised to support various philanthropic initiatives including scholarships for Downers Grove students!
