1. Bylaws

Per State of IL PTA guidelines we are required to review the Whittier PTA Bylaws every other year.  A committee selected by our PTA carried out the review and made a couple of minor changes for clarification purposes. You can view these changes by connecting to the document via the link provided. An opportunity to ask questions or get further clarification will be available at our next general PTA meeting on April 23 @ 7 in the LRC. The changes will be voted on at our May 16 general meeting.

10. Primary Playground Donations – Final Week!

This is the final week for personal and corporate donations toward the playground if anyone is interested in being a sponsor for the playground and having their name recognized on the plaque that will be mounted in the Jaguar Jungle.  All donations over $250 earn a space on the plaque, a mention on the PTA Facebook page and PTA Website.  All sponsorships are tax deductible and a letter and thank you card from the students will be sent.  Donations can be made on the website link (see below) or by check made payable to Whittier PTA with a note in the memo section saying “playground donation”.  Any funds raised that are over the cost of the playground will be returned to the PTA to fund the PTA budget and shore up the reserves.
